What is Reincarnation?

The rebirth of a soul in another body.  An idea that many people believe in and many laugh at when they hear it uttered.  But it is a possibility. The idea that no one is ever perfect and instead of judgement and punishment, you simply restart and hope for the best again.  Most of the religions in the east follow this idea but put variations on it. As do some newer religions in the west, all came to the conclusion reincarnation fits their lives, and deaths.  There have also some people who start to remember a past live and it is documented.  I would feel at relaxed if this was the case, that way I can forgive myself for the mistakes I have made and learn from them and move into the next life to try again. Other than being shameful and waiting for judgement on some things I could not help, like believing blindly.
