Talk with Dad

I actually managed to have a religious talk with my father that didn't end in an arguement.  We talked about how I can believe in God, but I don't want to accept the idea he is so unforgiving and loving by judging us on what we do on earth for eternity.  I said that I think I can accept the idea; When Satan was cast out of heaven with his ban of angels, some of the angels started changing there mind and wanted to return to God in heaven.  So God wanting to forgive them, gave them an option to become human and prove your loyalty and that you are truly good enough to return to heaven, you will. So we humans are the fallen angels and Satan tempts us in order to trick us and get us back in hell until we ask God to forgive us again.  Then once all of the fallen angels return to God the world will end.  He actually took it in stride and said  that might be. He gave his opinion and the subject moved on.  I do not know if I believe in this but this idea makes more sense and logic than the normal Christian theories, at least to me. It also shows how I am growing, able to talk about the subject without getting yelled at.
