Before Time Was

Reading this I thought mostly of the Christians view, mainly because that is all I know. I understand the idea much like I understand Adam and eve. I like they Idea we were put here on this earth for us and treated like children, and our parents want the best for us so they keep giving second chances without asking, until you get it right. Unlike in Christianity were we are God's children but we are more servants and worshipers. Where there is forgiveness if you ask before you die, but you are punished for all eternity if you don't. But both ideas seem far fetched to me except that two opposite sex drives all life in this world you cannot have life without female, and male "energies" for a lack of a better word. But I do not really care to much on why the Earth was made or man kind, but where do I go from my present.
